Golf Psychology

Over the next few weeks we will be looking at some ideas on how to improve the mental game of golf.

Ben Crenshaw (Masters Winner ’84 & ’95) said: “I am about 5 inches from being an outstanding golfer. That’s the distance from my left ear to my right.” Improving your mental game will allow you to improve your score from your inbox.

This week’s tip:

Visualise the shot you are about to play in your mind. Picture the swing, the flight and trajectory of the ball and the target where it will land. Be realistic in your visualisation. If you have never reached a par 5 in two shots visualising that you will, won’t have any impact.
